Cancellation Policy

At The Huntress and The Hound, I understand that plans can change unexpectedly. However, as a horse sitting and drop-in service for horses and livestock, my schedule and resources are carefully planned to ensure the highest level of care for your animals. To maintain my commitment to all my clients and provide reliable service, I have established the following cancellation policy:

  1.   Cancellation Notice Period:

o   Horse Sitting: Please provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to scheduled horse sitting visits.

o   Drop-in Services for Horses and Livestock: Please provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to scheduled drop-in services.

  1.   Cancellation Fees:

o   Horse Sitting:

o   Cancellations made with more than 48 hours’ notice will not incur any fees.

o   Cancellations made within 48 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled visit fee.

o   Drop-in Services for Horses and Livestock:

o   Cancellations made with more than 24 hours’ notice will not incur any fees.

o   Cancellations made within 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service fee.

  1.   Refunds:

o   Horse Sitting: Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled visit time.

o   Drop-in Services for Horses and Livestock: Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service time.

  1.   Emergency Situations:

o   I understand that emergencies can arise, and I will make exceptions for such circumstances. If you need to cancel due to an unforeseen emergency, please contact me immediately to discuss your situation. Proper documentation or evidence may be required to waive cancellation fees in emergency cases.

  1.   Cancellation Notification:

o   To cancel or make changes to a scheduled service, please contact me directly by phone or email. Please provide all necessary details, including your name, service date and time, and the reason for cancellation.
