Priced at $175.00 per day for one horse, with additional horses starting at $25.00 per horse/per day, my comprehensive service guarantees round-the-clock care for your equine companions.

As the caretaker, I will stay at your house throughout the duration of my services, offering you peace of mind while you’re away. My presence ensures that your premises remain safeguarded and protected, providing an additional layer of security for your valuable assets. Furthermore, I will go the extra mile to make your life easier. Alongside tending to your horses, I will take care of essential tasks such as mail collection, plant watering, and maintaining a secure environment. You can fully relax, knowing that your horses and your property are in capable and trustworthy hands.

My premium equine concierge package offers a wide range of essential services that guarantee the optimal care of your horses. I can administer medication to your horse, and pricing is based on a case-by-case evaluation.

1.   AM and PM feeding:

 I understand the significance of maintaining a consistent feeding schedule for your horses. Whether it’s 1 to 3 times a day, I will ensure they receive their meals on time, following your specific instructions. This includes buckets, supplements, and any additional dietary requirements. 

2.         Refill of water sources:

Hydration is crucial for the overall health and happiness of horses. I will regularly refill their water sources, ensuring a fresh and clean supply. If requested, I can also clean and scrub water troughs to maintain optimal cleanliness.

3.         Turn in and turn out:

 I recognize the importance of allowing horses to stretch their legs and enjoy some outdoor time. I will carefully and safely handle the process of turning your horses out to pasture or bringing them back into the stable, providing them with the opportunity for exercise and mental stimulation.

4.         Hoof care:

 I understand the importance of proper hoof maintenance for your horses’ health and comfort. Each day, I will inspect their hooves, clean them, and apply any necessary treatments, such as hoof oil or dressings. If you require more extensive hoof care, such as trimming or shoeing, I can arrange for a professional farrier to visit at an additional cost.

5.         Fly spray:

To protect your horses from pesky flies and other bothersome insects, I offer fly spray application every day. This will help keep them comfortable and free from irritation. I can also take care of putting on a fly mask and fly sheet. Removing / applying them daily if needed. 

6.         To ensure the overall health and wellness

 I provide comprehensive monitoring of your horse throughout the day. From observing their behavior and activity levels to identifying any signs of discomfort or illness, I will keep a close eye on your horses, promptly addressing any concerns that may arise. Your horses’ safety and well-being are my top priorities. In the event of an emergency, I will promptly assess the situation and if necessary, I will coordinate with emergency veterinary services, ensuring that your horses receive immediate medical attention when needed. 

7.         Text, video, photo updates at each visit:

I understand how important it is for you to stay connected with your horses even when you’re not physically present. That’s why I provide real-time updates through text messages, videos, and photos each day. You can rest assured that you’ll be informed about your horse’s well-being, including their hoof care and daily activities.

8.         Grooming:

It’s an integral part of maintaining your horses’ health and appearance. I will provide regular grooming sessions, keeping your horses’ coats clean and shiny, while fostering a strong bond of trust between them and myself. 

I understand that every horse owner may have unique requests or additional services they desire for their horses. At The Huntress and The Hound, I’m committed to accommodating your specific needs. Any additional services requested will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and pricing will be determined accordingly through a comprehensive assessment. 

If you’re interested in moving forward with my horse sitting services, the next step would be to set up a meet and greet. During this meeting, we can discuss your horse’s and livestock’s specific needs and preferences, as well as any special instructions or concerns you may have. We will also customize a schedule of care that works best for you and your horses and livestock.  

To start the process, I will have you fill out a horse/ livestock profile form, which will help me gather important information about them, such as their age, breed, health conditions, and any specific behaviors or triggers I should be aware of. 

Once we have finalized the details and agreed on a schedule, I will provide you with contracts that outline the terms and conditions of my services. These contracts ensure that both parties understand their responsibilities and provide a clear agreement for the care of your pet.

 During the meet and greet, you can also provide me with a key to your home, ensuring easy access for the horse and livestock sitting services. Rest assured that I take the security of your key and the privacy of your home very seriously. Your key will be stored securely and only used for the purpose of providing horse and livestock sitting services.
