My dog walking services are designed to provide your dogs with the exercise, mental stimulation, and companionship they need to thrive. Whether you have a small breed or a large breed, I am committed to accommodating dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
During our walks, I not only provide exercise but also incorporate positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior. I believe in rewarding your dog’s positive actions to promote their learning and development.
Here are my dog walking options along with their corresponding prices:
Note: Prices listed are for one dog only. Each additional dog adds $10 per pet per walk to the listed prices.
Express 20-minute stroll – $25.00
Perfect for a brief leg stretch, quick potty break, or a short burst of exercise for your furry companion.
30-Minute Walk – $30.00:
This option is perfect for dogs who need a quick stretch of the legs, a potty break, or a shorter exercise session.
45-Minute Walk – $40.00:
Ideal for dogs who require a slightly longer outing, allowing them more time to explore their surroundings and burn off energy.
60-Minute Walk – $60.00:
My most popular choice! This option provides an extended walking session, giving your dog ample time for exercise, play, and sniffing adventures.
If your dog requires a longer walk than 60 minutes, I understand that each dog has unique needs. Please contact me to discuss a custom plan to accommodate your dog’s requirements.
If you choose to book my services, I provide the added convenience of picture or video updates during the walk. Additionally, I can text you either when I arrive or when I leave, or both, to keep you informed about your dog’s wellbeing and how our walk went.
At The Huntress and The Hound, I prioritize the safety and well-being of your pets. I am fully insured and take every precaution to ensure your dog’s safety during walks. My goal is to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for your pets while giving you peace of mind.
If you’re interested in moving forward with my dog walking services, the next step would be to set up a meet and greet. During this meeting, we can discuss your dog’s specific needs and preferences, as well as any special instructions or concerns you may have. We will also customize a schedule of care that works best for you and your pet.
To start the process, I will have you fill out a pet profile form, which will help me gather important information about your dog, such as their age, breed, health conditions, and any specific behaviors or triggers I should be aware of.
Once we have finalized the details and agreed on a schedule, I will provide you with contracts that outline the terms and conditions of my services. These contracts ensure that both parties understand their responsibilities and provide a clear agreement for the care of your pet.
During the meet and greet, you can also provide me with a key to your home, ensuring easy access for the dog walks. Rest assured that I take the security of your key and the privacy of your home very seriously. Your key will be stored securely and only used for the purpose of providing dog walking services. I understand that entrusting someone with the care of your beloved pet is a big decision. I can provide references and am committed to building a trusting and professional relationship with you and your furry family members.

Please note that these prices are subject to change, and additional charges may apply for any special requests or additional services not mentioned above
**Additional Fees:**
– Same-Day Booking Fee:
– Dog walking or drop-in visits booked on the same day will incur an additional $10.00 fee.
– Pet sitting booked on the same day will incur an additional $25.00 fee.
– Extended Hours Fee:
– For dog walking and drop-in visits outside of regular hours (before 9:30 am and after 6:30 pm), there will be an extra $10.00 fee.
Holiday Rates:
An additional fee of $10.00 will be charged per day on the following holiday dates:
• Easter: Saturday and Easter Sunday
• Memorial Day: Sunday and Memorial Day
• Independence Day: 3rd, 4th, 5th
• Labor Day: Sunday and Labor Day
• Thanksgiving: Thursday to Saturday
• Christmas: 23rd to 26th
• New Year’s: 30th, 31st,
Cancellation Policy for The Huntress And The Hound:
I understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and I strive to accommodate my clients’ needs. However, timely notice for cancellations is crucial as it not only allows me to adjust my schedule but also ensures the continued quality of service for all clients. To maintain the excellence of care and uphold my commitment, I’ve updated the cancellation policy as follows:
1. **Cancellation Notice Period:**
– For pet sitting and equine/livestock services, please provide a minimum of one week’s notice for any cancellations or changes to the scheduled service.
– For dog walking services and drop-in visits, please provide a minimum of three days’ notice for any cancellations or changes to the scheduled service.
2. **Cancellation Fees:**
– For pet sitting, if cancellation occurs within a week of the service, a fee of 25% of the total service cost will be applied.
– If you cancel a scheduled service within 3 days of the service date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total service cost will be applied.
– For cancellations on the day of the scheduled service, the full price of the service is due.
3. **No Refunds:**
– Refunds will not be provided for any cancellations, including those made within a week and/or 3 days of the scheduled service.
4. **Emergency Situations:**
– I understand that emergencies can arise, and exceptions may be considered for such circumstances. If you need to cancel due to an unforeseen emergency, please contact me immediately to discuss your situation. Proper documentation or evidence may be required to waive cancellation fees in emergency cases.
5. **Cancellation Notification:**
– To cancel or make changes to a scheduled service, please contact me directly by phone or email. Include essential details such as your name, service date and time, and the reason for cancellation.
